Its too dark to take pictures. Will post in the morning. The car dropped big time!
I didnt get the car measured before the drop as planned. Actually nothing went as planned. Looks like the car dropped 3"s all around. Looks great but thats not a good thing. The alignment guys couldnt get the car back in spec. They didnt charge for the alignment and have some suspicions that the may have an equipment problem.
I have an appointment to get the car aligned with another shop in the morning at 7:00am.
If the car really did drop 3" as it appears then it will need camber adjustment blocks that no one makes.
I spoke with Eibach and they told me that the car had dropped an inch too much and anything over 2" on a drop requires adjustable camber. Eibachs concern is that they may have 224 sets of springs on the street about to be installed and a problem.
I need to confirm the drop. If the car dropped 3" or more as I suspect Eibach believes there is either a production problem with the springs or an inconsistancy in the production of the car.

The front fender height measured from the ground, through the centerline of the wheel and to the bottom of the fender lip is 26 5/8" the rear is 27 1/4".

Someone please run outside and measure their fender bottom lip height!!!!!!!!!!

If it the car truly dropped over 2" there is no need for me to waste time and money on the alignment. I need to get the springs on a truck back to Eibach for evaluation.

Sure hope a 4G owner checks this board tonight!!!

Thanks,
Matthew

Appreciate the help. I also have 17s on the GT. Was the 28 1/2" the rear? Would also like the front measurement if you dont mind taking another measurement.

My car must have been extremely high compared to yours.
Thanks,
Matthew

Alright! Got things sorted out. Kinda. Just got back from measuring 5 GTs and 2 GS at the dealership.

The front height measured from 28"-28 1/2" and the rear from 29"-29 1/2". I also measured 2 GS and they fell in the same range.

I measured my GT again after a drive to the dealership and parked in their parking lot.
The front measured 26 1/2" and the rear 27 1/4".

So the Eibach Pro Kit dropped the car 1 1/2" front and 1 3/4" rear.

For what ever reason my car was probably sitting at 29" front and 30" rear.
I had to drop the tennis ball I use for centering the car when I back in 3" in order to get it to touch the rear window.

So the kit is dropping the car as Eibach designed. I can only assume that the caster and camber readings that the alignment shop had were fault of the equipment and I will make the 7:00am appointment in the morning to have it re-aligned.

Regarding the handling...there is notably less body roll. I still wouldnt call it tight but much better. The ride is notably firmer but it is not rough. After I put a few miles on the car I will have to decide if the handling justifies the firmer ride for my dailey use.
