hey guys i just signed up and i wanted to see if you guys can help get some more power out of my car. I have a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000gt SL automatic 4 speed with a 1994 engine in it, so far i have a K&N filter air intake, custom exhaust , and a Turbonator( It actually works). I want to give it some more power and acceleration, but for not alot of money at least not yet, thinking of spending about $1000 TO $1500 FOR EACH DIFFERENT PART, Any Tips or advise? Also good web sites for hoods and bodykits. THANKS

Other then twin turbos or nos, how about purchasing a VR4 sticker to replace the SL. I think you can purchase them on ebay for a buck ninty nine. Sometimes it's not the HP that counts, but the attitude.

If you put a VR-4 sticker on your SL auto I'm gonna give you such a purple nurple.

I also hate that.

It's an auto FWD. how much speed do you think your seriously gonna get out of it.

I suppose you could get the long headers from 3sxperformance.

did you gut out your cat yet?

toss everything that you don't need (ie: gut the car.)

How about a High-Flow Catalytic Converter or Race Pipe from 3SX?

holy crap, $600 for a carbon fiber hood?? PLUS SHIPPING, WTF, dont tell me people actually do that, here, check these guys out, their hoods are actually test fitted on a 3si members car......

http://www.deftracing.com/carbon_fiber_hoo...od_mainlist.htm

they are i believe 290 plus 165 shipping, total of 455 shipped, but seriously, there isnt much hope for a sohc auto, it's just not worth it......you can make it fast, but to make it up to the speed of a vr4, it will cost well over double of what it would take you to just buy one.... but if you really wanna do it, get air into and out of the engine, aka, intake exhaust, also, check out the n/a upgrade bible from 3si.org good luck...... but seriously, it's really not worth it man
