I really think something is wrong here! I smash on 2000 + eclipses. My friend had a 97 clipse conv and smashed on them also. Maybe paper says something different but thats it just paper don't mean alot in the real world! It wasn't that it was driver error or same other stuff. It's that the old gst will beat the v6 everyday of the week!. It's not that I dont like the v6 but when I found out how slow it was I just said no thanks! :57:

second... saying that you smash on a 2G n/a eclipse means nothing when im saying the 3G v6 can keep up with a stock 1G/2G GST. you are talking about 2G's and im talking about 3Gs. do you see the difference?

BTW: i talked to a honda salesman yesterday. The V6 Accord is the fastest car Honda makes. It out accelerates RSX type R, Civic SI, or S2000.

I have yet to meet a car salesmen who knows his cars. The s2000 will kill a v6 honda. Don't even try to say something different!. Second a 95-99 GST will smoke a 2000-2004 v6 eclips ;) e. Any one near LA CALI with a v6 Eclipse to prove it?

stock for stock....a GST will NOT SMOKE a 00-04 V6. it will win, but only by a car or so. dude...you should really learn about the cars you are racing. for all we know, the 3G GT that you were racing was probably not racing...or he wasn't trying that hard. maybe he was a auto. maybe something was wrong with his car.

Well maybe winning by a car isn't smoking someone but I think so. It's a matter of opinion and you have yours and I have mine. I am pretty close to stock.
Hks intake, Greddy rs BOV, Greddy intercooler pipe kit, and Sebring muffler that's it. This is my opinion from my experince. I will take a v6 eclipse and I always have. Now if they had serious work done or turbod then that's another story. I didn't come in here to put a fellow Mitsu owner down but when people started talking crap I wasn't just going to sit here and say nothing. If you put my car down it wasn't like I was not going to do the same. If someday I lost to a v6 or they were pretty even with me then I would be man enough to admit it. It comes down to this I don't think stock for stock a v6 eclipse can take a 97 gst stock. We can argue back and forth on this all day but the fact is we have different opinions and I really don't want to go back and forth on this. I am in whittier if there is any v6 eclipses out there, but not 06 ones :thumbsup:

i completely agree. you will always beat a 3G v6 eclipse(unless you miss a gear or something). but the first person to put down the GST was Red97GST, and he drives a GST. i don't see why you started calling out the 3G v6. you were the first to say that my car was slow.... remember?

If his car is slow and your only beating him by a car length... then your car is slow too.

So a Evo beating a srt-4 by a car means that the evo is slow cause he beat him by a car??What makes a car slow? Is there a certain amout of hp or 1/4 miles that you have to fall into to make the fast cut? I mean is 13 second fast but as soon as you get into 14 seconds your slow? I don't know one person who thinks an SRT4 is slow(well maybe TT Angel :lol: ). So an Evo isn't going to be considered slow just for beating/losing to an SRT4 by one car.

what makes a car slow? when you call a certain car slow, then you can barely beat that same car. that makes your car slow also. i have never stated that the 3G V6 was fast because its not fast. but its not dog slow.

you started the postwar by jumping on the 3G eclipse and having your head in the clouds like you have the fastest car on the planet.

just one more question.....i know that you say that you "bash" on 3G eclipses all day long....but never once have you stated that you beat a 3G V6 eclipse. you always say "3G eclipse". You do know that a majority of 3G owners have the 4cyl, correct. I guarantee you have "stomped" plenty of 4cyl 3G eclipses. i hope you feel proud of beating a car with a whoping 107whp(auto).

Gst or gsx isn't a slow car. Its not totally fast but admit it it can run with a car thats not over 15 grand.
