i dont know why but tons of lights are coming on on my dash. sport light, check engine and now this time its a light that looks like the whitehouse. its located below the srs light ( the srs light isnt on). can anyone tell me what its sposed to mean? it came on this morning while i was driving.

Is it on the lower right hand side? If it is that would be your windshieldwasher fluid reservior light. fill that puppy up and see if it goes away.

the check engine light would worry me more. time to get a logger and see what code your tripping.

check engine light is due to bad battery connections.

i think i figured it out he he. good ol repair manual has a diagram of the dash. im low on coolant.

D'oh. yup coolant is right there also. ma' bad.

what's up with the battery terminals? need a good cleaning or what? coke dissolves that white cruddy stuff that battery's leave pretty well.

you can get soem of that stuff from an auto parts store, post protectant, will solve the corrosion problem. once you clean the existing corrosion.

nice to know but i dont have corrosion. the terminals are loose and i cant tighten them. it was a problem before but when i took my car into a shop to get my exhaust fixed they tightend it up pretty good. anyways i need new terminals. i managed to fix one myself but the other has a stripped bolt or something and i need somone to fix it for me :/ so maybe ill take it to a shop but really i dont wanna have to pay someone to fix it.

Go to an auto parts store and purchase (or if you know someone that has one) a strip nut remover socket (10mm) to remove the nut and replace with a new one. The battery terminals can wear and decrease in side over time when cleaning them with battery terminal wire brushes. You can buy caps for the worn terminals so that the cable fits properly again. Easy fix that you can do yourself.

I think the "Damaged Bolt Remover Tool" only comes in sets. However, you can try to work it out with vice grips or go to an auto parts store and see if they sell just the 10mm that you need. Here's a link to what the set looks like from Sears:
