I have an '04 Endeavor, but have had problems in finding any good accessories or mods for it, as I am sure most of you have. If you have any help please share, as I will do the same. Even the smallest amount information will help. I am in the process of setting up my page which will have indepth information on each of the upgrades I perform, currently working on modifying the console to hold the Kenwood DDX7017, with a custom enclosure which replaces the spare tire.

Does any one know if they make aftermarket engine covers (shrowds?)... the engine just looks alittle plain. If not I plan to make some molds, and will let ppl know whats up.

I have been researching vanity products for this beast... After talking to the Mitsu dealer the spark plug / intake manifold cover off of the '04 6G75 Galant will fit on the Endeavor... As well as the '06's front bumper/grille will bolt up to the '03-'05 modles.

I have had difficulty ordering the cover after market thus far, its about $150 from the dealer. If you know where to get one cheaper Let me know!

Hi

I take it it's safe to assume that the grill from the Gallant you mentioned would be for inserting in to the lower intake on the Endeavor! did you see how some members used tuner mesh for that particular job? :57:

No the front bumper on the '06 Endeavor will swap over w/o modification according to the dealer.... With the Galant its the intake manifold / spark plug cover that should swap over to the Endeavor..... though stealing the mesh is a good idea.

I am in the process of fabricating an alluminum cold air intake for this beast!!! I have completed the design it's currently in the pre production phase with a small shop here in Germany. I should be able to have them powder coated to any of the primary colors. If your interested drop a line inMy Guest Book
I contacted a distributor about intakes for this truck about a month ago, and he finally got back to me. It appears my efforts to have an intake built might have been in vain. According to them the Weapon-R Secret Weapon intake for the '04 Galant V6 should bolt up directly since both engines are 6G75's. I was skeptical due to the Galant having an alluminum intake manifold, but the mounts for the intake are the same and the piping runs generally the same course for both vehicles. Check it out for your self! '04-'05 Galant V6 Intake
I am not affiliated with RacingLab or Weapon-R in any way, but let me know how this works if you buy one!

I've had the Sylvania SilverStars for about a month now and am not to thrilled with them, so I started looking for something better and found an HID conversion kit for the 9007 bulb. I found quite a few different places that sell them but PlasmaGrage.com finally sold me on their Dual Beam kit.

They Alos Offer a less expensive single beam in 5200K Bright-White, 6000k Purple-White, and the 8000K Xenon-Blue. The complete kit even comes with ballasts, and all in one box for $349 (+shipping)! The only draw back to this kit is that you lose your high beam and can only use the high beam toggle to flash the ligts. This is what you get in the kit: 2 Ballasts, 2 Bulbs, and associated wiring harnesses for conversion. They also have a decent tutorial for installation of the single beam kit online, the installation is pretty self explanitory, it is nice to see the step by step pictures though.

Now on to the big dog, I went a head and ordered the H4 Dual Beam 9007 conversion kit, its a 6000K Purple-White kit that allows for both high and low beam useage. The cost for this one is $509 (+shipping)...still not too bad. They reccomend professional installation with this kit, but when I get it I will be sure to let you know how hard it was or if I had to pay to have it done.

Get more information from my page at CarDomain.com

I have to admit that I am happy with the Silverstars and have found that they cut through rain/snow quite well, they also seem to work well during the twilight hours!

The SilverStars seem to be excelent for general driving, and twilight hours as has been stated, however now that fall has set in and winter is nearing the fog is getting extremely thick here in Germany during the times I drive most (I work a 7pm to 7am shift). They were great until this thicker fog and rain started to come in, sadly I have yet to see them perform in the snow but my HID kit is not here yet and we're expecting snow soon so I still might see how they are. I am not trying to put them down as a bad light I am meerly trying to say they just are not fitting my particular applicaton. If I was still in the states I would not have a problem keeping them, but here I need that little extra umph! I will be sure to post how they are when I install them

Anyone have any ideas about Upper Strut Bars for an Ende? I know their similar to the Galant, so maybe a Galant bar would work, but I havn't found any of those either. Any ideas? Also, anyone selling factory Ende Fog Lights?

so far I am finding that most of the Galant upgrades will apply to the Ende as far as the engine, I am not sure about the braces but it is very possible. I will research this and let you know what i find

I was shopping around for Endeavour, and it seems that the thing would really make use of a skid plate. The oil pan sticks out pretty omniously. The dealer was no help. Does anyone know if such a thing is available, or should I stick with a used Montero instead?

I already resigned to not being able to find a winch. I'll just a have a long pole jack from a Jeep in the back and use that with a cable loop.

I'm not too into the off road stuff for this but I agree that a skid plate would be very benificial, I will look into it but, I think your best bet would be to go to a local fab shop and have them make you one they are not hard. If you want to do it yourself just deside wether you want steel or aluminum measure it out, find where to attach it and make some brackets. I have not heard about any winches but I will take a look for those as well.
