Hi room,

I've just got my AIRTREK 2.0 Turbo. However, while I was trying the top speed on a highway, the speed cuts at about 190-195KM/H (the speedo meter dial max at 180 km/h).

Is there anyone here tried to lift the speed cut / block before. I think I have read it somewhere where you could add some electronics to the ECU to lift it.

Please advise.

Cheers. ;)

The best way is to get a full ECU replacement. So far the speed cut cannot work on the ATR. It is most likely getting the speed reading from the ECU and gearbox.

hi

everybody is trying to learn something about airtrek and outlander .We have no speed cut on Outlanders.
here is my question to airtrek turbo drivers: if outlander turbo and airtrek turbo are using the same fuel pump? Cause airtrek turbo is 240 HP-outlander turbo is 202 HP.
if you dont know ,at least can you give me an e-mail adress of mitsubishi service in your city/country so i can ask them.

I am located in the Caribbean, not singapore. Would you be able to assist ATR owners not located in your country. Thanks

The only way is to mail the ECU to me. What I suggest is that you can organised and make so money by having a spare ECU as temporary replacement while you send the other ECU to me for programming.

This way, you can charge some fee for it.

Thanks

Hi Harmony
Thanks for your advise. Just some quick questions for you.

1. Would the ECU tuning you do also help with the fuel consumption? Burning so much gas is painful to the pocket.
2. Is your ECU tuning similar to this company http://www.automotivesynergy.com/ecu.html
3. Whats your cost?
4. It is difficult for me to find a spare ECU. How long will you take to remap? Wouldn't mind the wait if it only takes a day or two, and also knowing that the worldwide courier services can get it two and from in a day is comforting.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Harmony

1. Would the ECU tuning you do also help with the fuel consumption?  Burning so much gas is painful to the pocket.

Theoretically, I lean the ARF about 20%. So Theoretically you should experience better fuel consumption. But again, the factor that affects the FC is mostly driving style.

2. Is your ECU tuning similar to this company http://www.automotivesynergy.com/ecu.html

I am the one supporting Automotive Synergy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

3. Whats your cost?

My price list is on my website: www.harmony.sg

4. It is difficult for me to find a spare ECU.  How long will you take to remap?  Wouldn't mind the wait if it only takes a day or two, and also knowing that the worldwide courier services can get it two and from in a day is comforting.

Its not difficult to tune the ECU, but for oversea cases, I will need you to do some pre-tune runs for me with wide band O2 sensor, this will make my tuning more accurate. I wouldn't want you to incur lots of postage fee.

Thanks for your help.

I've a spare Airtrek Turbo ECU with Tomei flashed settings to remove speed cut, tune fueling and ignition. Email me at leeamos@gmail.com if you are interested. I seldom come to this forum, so best is to email your reply.
