Hi all,

I have just discovered that there is a 1 cm gap between the roof and the door seals (exterior) on both sides of my 2003 magna. I cant remember it being there when I bought it but I am unsure.
Has anyone ever heard of this before and does anyone know how I would go about fixing it?
Also does anyone think it would be covered under warranty?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

hmmmmm it would be unusual(well ive never heard of it) for doors to warp!Do they let rain in?best thing to do is compare to other magna's first to make sure its not the way it came, and if the top of the door has been pulled out maybe some scum has tried to break in to it!!!And if its a manufacturing fault then mitsi will have to cover it.

Hey,

Thanks for your reply. I have finally spoken to the mitsubishi dealer's mechanic and he seems to think that it is a problem that sometimes occurs with the seals just simply parting from the roof. It is probably a simple matter of incorrect fitting. It does seem as though the dealer is going to fix it up for me gratus.
I am hoping it is not a recurring problem, but we will see.

Thanks again.

Willy.
