Hi everyone i am new to this Forum just registered couple of days ago... I have 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor XLS AWD and everytime i would have low gas it accelerates slower and when i am going around 40 and i punch it it picks up slow.... does anyone know the reason of that? But when i have full tank then its fast.... does it maybe have some kind of chip in it that tells it not to pick up as fast as if it were full so u could actually get places when ur low on gas or what? :57:

I have heard of this in other vehicles, my Audi A6 would do the same thing when around an 1/8th tank (until i go the new chip), but I do believe that it is part of the factory program to conserve gas hopefully allowing you to find a gas station before you become F.O.R.D.
