Wonder if anyone can help me here,
I have a spacewagon 2.0 glxi, 1994 and about 3 months ago the Red warning light came on, on the Parking / I. which looks like (!)/P.
This light normally only came on when the handbrake is applied.
I have checked the switch to the handbrake and can find no fault.
The car does not appear to have any sensors to the brakes etc, so I am at a loss as to what the fault is indicating.

Thanks,

Paul

The 'handbrake - on' warning light on the spacewagon also indicates low brake hydraulic fluid level.
If a check reveals that sufficient fluid is present, try fully loosening the master cylinder lid and jiggling it up and down. This worked on my car although I'm not sure how!
