hey ive just bought a 1985 delica starwagon van and by the horible sound it makes when i turn the steering wheel, i think its low on powersteering fluid. with it being a jap import (im in new zealand) everything is written in japanese and i dont have an owners manual. does any1 know where the powersteering fluid goes? there is a small steel canister mounted oin the radiator with a lid that opens in the same way as a radiator with a dipstick on it and i am assuming that is where it goes. (smells the same as the new stuff) but just thought id check. any help would be tops :460:

You found it. It is the black reservoir beside the radiator and takes auto trans fluid. If the oil is correct, don't stress too much about it. I change some of my hoses when I changed my engine and the hose place didnot remove the restrictor from my old hose and put it in the new hose. Ever since then it has made an unusual noise but has never gave any trouble in over 120,000 km. What engine is in it? Has any of the power steering hoses been changed?
