Ok... I'm buying a new Clutch and Flywheel. Or so i think.... I found a good clutch from exedy stage 1..... It's like 335.00 Or something.... I'm thinking about buying a new fly wheel also.. Which i can't find any... let me know what you think... What kind of performance increases would i see.. By the way.. I want as much tourque as possible... I Love tourque. i can care less about hp.... I know to light of a flywheel you loose tourque..... too heavy.. it drains all of the above... Let me know what i should do.. And how much an estimate Labor would be on both.. Thanks guys. 2001 eclipse GT

if you are not planning on going FI, there is no real need to change it unless it is worn down. a different clutch will not give you horespower gains. it is for controlling the increase in horespower. you will notice different engagments, whether it is harder or softer.

and exedy stage 1 clutch is the same clutch that you have stock. exedy makes mitsubishi's stock clutches.

go with a SPEC stage 1 clutch. it has the stock feel and will hold up pretty well. fidanza makes an aluminum flywheel for the 3G. you can also get your stock one resurfaced during the clutch installation.

like tanz said, you will not see any gains with these mods. if you decide to get a lightened flywheel, the engine will rev a little quicker but thats about it for performance.

Well i went with the SPEC stage 1 and ACT fly wheel b/c im boost'N soon,

it really feels like a stock clutch and it doesnt chadder at all.

At first i wanted my stock fly wheel resurfaced but it had some stress fractures and the fly wheel costed more than the clutch kit.

spec stage 1 = $300

act fly wheel = $350

average labor cost = $800
