THe cover is $200 fromm the dealer for the 2006 Eclipse. Anyone have it? I dont want to pay that much it I can get a better product from an aftermarket company. What is the best kind of cover if you have no garage like me? I live in Washington DC so winter is coming.

Description:
The Evolution 4 is the natural selection when you want your car cover to do it all. The Kimberly-Clark fabric is cut to custom fit your vehicle.

The Evolution 4’s tough exterior can withstand acid rain, industrial pollutants, tree sap, even bird droppings. The core layers block minute dust particles, yet allow air to circulate. The super-soft inner lining babies your vehicle. And, all the layers combined to provide a thick, impact-resistant shield.

Made in the USA and it comes with a 4-year warranty. Darwin would be proud.

Features:
Covercraft’s Evolution 4 Car Cover is custom-made to fit your vehicle
Innovative Evolution 4 fabric can take almost anything the elements dish out—nothing short of a tornado will do it harm
The Covercraft Evolution 4’s thicker material gives your covered car exceptional impact protection
Water-repellant, non-absorbing fabric dries quickly and easily—holds no moisture
The Evolution 4 comes equipped with grommets for a tie-down cable and your antenna
Available in 3 universal colors: Grey, Tan and Blue
Your Covercraft Evolution 4 car cover comes with a 4-year warranty

"I received the cover and used it for a couple weeks in Los Angeles in normal Los Angeles weather. However, after one day of rain the cover's true capability was revealed. The cover soaked through and my car was soaken underneath. My car would have been better off without a cover, because the cover trapped the moisture."

Evolution 4 vs Noah

"I like my Evolution 4 Car Cover - it's new. It seems a bit stiff, however, and doesn't fit as well as the Noah cover it replaced. If it lasts as long as the Noah (6 years), I will be happy."

Evol 4 Car Cover--4-Star Review

"This is about my sixth or seventh Evolution 4 car cover (different sizes over the years for a variety of cars). It does the job I want it to and functions as advertised. I use the cover primarily for dust, dirt and dew protection. It's easy to get on and off the car as well."

"Perfect fit, great material, and can't beat the price! Use it for a BMW, and the soft interior is great on the paint. It's been great for the outdoors in the rain, too. Even ordered another for my other vehicle. Another huge plus is that it shipped so quickly!"

"The car cover is much better than expected. It fits perfectly and is made of high quality fabric. I usually by my covers from California Car Cover - but I will use your company from now on. Better product - best deal! :) Best regards, Ollie"

Very happy with the Evo 4 for my Boxster
Posted on 10/17/2005 by Mark S. (Durham, NC)

6 of 9 people found the following review helpful.

"Overall, I was very pleased with the Evo 4 Car Cover. In short: 1) it arrived in less than a week 2) the fit was suprisingly good--it really was custom cut for the Boxster 3) the material is thick, durable, and protects the car well, but the cover itself is very light weight 4) after the first try it is very easy to put on and take off."
