There is a tube running under the floor of the car to bring water to the rear wash wipe - find it and trace it to see if it is nipped.

I have also had problems with water leaking into my spacestar (2005 model 1.6 equippe). i believe that there is a design fault with the rubber door seal which allows water to drain in, build up and collect and around the plastic inner trim and drip into the passenger compartment. i am currently in dispute with mitsubishi. i will keep you posted

Its simple if everyone is having the problem, report it to the dealer.if enough peps report it then they will have to recall it.
