I had a '04 Glant ES without the Infinity system installed, so I installed my own cd player, speakers and sub. It all works great and looks good, but I have one one issue. On the dash, under the time (where it used to say the radio station or track number) it now says 'E Com' (error communication?). I know that there are 4 extra wires that the wiring harness didn't have that plugged into the factory stereo. I was wondering if nyone knew how to remove the error, so that it would just be blank? Thanks.

Hey its realy easy to get rid of that! It took a bit for us Ende owners to figure it out but since you share the same display it should work the same for you! Go into the menu options on your display and look for the customize section, from there you can select which pages and functions you want displaied, just turn off the radio page/info and the error code should go away. As well as the page that says sound system off.
