I read on another message board about a guy who had to pay for a parking brake adjustment after the 12 month adjustment warranty. While on a hill and in nuetral the parking brake does not keep the car from rolling backwards, but it does not roll when in D drive. I just bought my xls endeavor 2004 1/2 on 10/9/2004 and tried this test today and it does the same thing. I will make sure it gets fixed before the adjustment period is up. Recommend others try the same. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thought the newest version would have the bugs worked out.

I think I'm that guy you read about. A formal recall from Mitsubishi on the problem was just registered, and all owners should get notified. Plus, I will get a refund on my adjustment.

Got mine, took it in, and there's a little backorder problem on the nuts. I have to wait another week. At any rate, it's a very easy fix.

Yesterday I booked my Endeavor in for its 15000 service, which was carried out this morning. When doing the booking in paperwork this morning, they saw the pending recall and so they did the work for it at the same time, but I've yet to receive a letter telling me about it!
