I want to know how hard it really is to install a clutch yourself... I really don't have 600.00 bucks laying around for them to throw one on... Is there a manual that sort of walks you through the whole thing.. I love hands on things.. And learn a lot from doing things myself.... Wouldn't mind doing it... But is it really that hard..? i mean come on.. A few builts or what.? let me know what you guys think. If you know a site or manual please point me in the right direction

my first question would be.....how much mechanical experience do you have?

i know a couple of guys who have done engine swaps and engine builds. they decided to change the clutch on their 3G. they both said that they would never change another 3G clutch even if their life depended on it.

its not an easy job. you have to remove the tranny to install the clutch. the tranny weighs about 80lbs.

I didnt think it was to hard to replace my clutch in my 3g, but you should really goto your local auto parts store and see if they have some manuals for you there
