Hi Everyone

Im new here today so hello to all.

I was hoping I could find what I was looking for in the forums but I cant so hopefully one of you genius's will be able to help me.

We have a 1990 Mitsubishi Express Van and my father in law is putting in a new head today and we need to know the bolt tightening specifications.

Does anyone know these or know where I could find out? Or if someone would be so kind as to look in their own manual and let me know i would be really really grateful.

Thanks for any help that anyone could offer.

hi Jody99,

Could you be more specific about the type of engine (petrol, diesel etc)
Have the tightning specification for some engines in the Buchelli repairmanual so maybe you're lucky.

Hi Niek

Thanks for your reply. Its a petrol engine that has been converted to duel fuel with LPG. We have tightened it to 75 pounds but have not started it up yet as its all still being put back together.

Hopefully that makes sense and thanks very mich for your help.

Jody :)

hi Jody,

For the 2,0 +2,4 liter petrol engine it's 90-100Nm (cold) or 100-110Nm (hot)
