Hi there.
I'm a new member to this forum, and an Air Trek owner.

We are returning from from Japan. Intend to bring our 2001 Air Trek over with us. We bought it new, its 2L automatic, but no 4WD, and not Turnbo. Still, it goes like a charm and don't want to part with it. Will be settling in NSW. Have been told there could be problems with the local regulations.

Any helpful advice, words of wisdom from the experienced would really be appreciated here.

Cheers, and thanks in advance for anyone taking the time out to post a reply.

Ooops.
Meant to add we are moving to Australia. Though there are those from the Southern hemisphere who will realise NSW is in Australia. I guess this just underlines my 'newbieness'.

I heard it was like 10K to $15000 dollars to register and legallize a japanese car in the US. I looked into it a little bit when I thought about buying a Skyline and having it shipped over.
I VERY well could be wrong though. Call the DMV.
