G'day good ladies and gentlemen of this fine forum...I thought I would just drop a line to touch base and see if there was any v8 l300 swaps other than the nitrous small block plumbers van from a few years ago and Cons' 10 second ls1 L300??? I bought an 03 swb 2.0 van about 2 months ago with the idea of doing something similar, but was interested to see if it was a popular swap...I hear you all moaning now "another peanut talking trash about a v8 l300 swap" and "why?" would be the other question I'd reckon you would all be asking...my only excuse would be I enjoy doing things you shouldn't and I guess only like minded weirdos would understand.
My swap is all most done and am at the wire up stage so while I'm here I thought someone may be able to help me with a wiring diagram for said van, thanks all for reading and thank you in advance for any help or replies,
Cheers George.

P.S I'll post some pics as soon as it stops raining.

sure why not if a V8 small block will fit

do you want it road registered ? if so will need a modification plate etc

cant find any write ups for a V8 conversion

a V6 holden engine used here -- good write up

Cheers for the reply chain rattle...I know she fits champion as have it in there now, but I was really after a wiring diagram...I have searched both on here and on Google and not found anything I can use. Swaps aren't really new to me as I've all ways liked to have something a little "different" and over the years have varied from V8 chevy luvs, ej20tt subaru brumby, ls powered e36 bmw and a 8 second twin turbo big block chev 1969 camaro...which were all and in the camaros case still are street driven.

This van will be my daily or "office" as I'm about to start a small, part time courier business...it's still fridge white and more than likely have stock wheels that I may have widened, very snoozy looking. It's running gear consists of a Ls 6.0ltr L76, powerglide, 9" and Garrett Gt4202...It still has air can and power steer and is really clean and tidy. As I'm resonably new to the whole forum thing I will "try" post some pics today,

Cheers George.

ok george

to register the L300 with such a modification

you will need your states regs on engine modification allowed for the L300 in australia

will require the certified engineer to pass this mod

then get the plate engraved

which state mod regs do you need

Ray

a V8 with a timing chain ... great start

for anything wiring diagrams to do with the aussie holden V8 and other running and tuning questions

there are lots of free PDF repair manuals in this forum also
