Angry Oxygen sensor prices are stupid high

If I had known what o2 sensors cost, I might have bought something else.

I know some of you are putting in the universal sensors but I have P0420 code and scan tool is not showing the exact cause. If I start splicing in new sensors and am still throwing a code, I'll be wondering if I screwed a splice up versus moving on to replacing the cat converter.

Have you checked the cat? If you have a smart phone, a Bluetooth OBD2 reader, and Torque you can get voltage readings on your O2 sensors to help diagnose them. hope that helps!

I put on the pricey ones and the code went away.

I think I did do voltage readings but would not swear to it.
