My lancer has just recently been squealing when starting up for 10/15 seconds then stopping...
I've replaced fan and timing belts, loosened and tightened pulley belt with no luck (same noise), used spray on the belt. Noise doesn't happen when the AC is turned on so it's not the fan belt gone... I don't know what the cause is and i've done every common troubleshooting task.
Could anyone help? Cheers

I guess it's the sound of Mitsubishi Lancer's belt slipping, no big problem. You can pour some water on it or try waxing the belt, or replace it with a new belt.

I have the same issue, and am similarly stumped.

Only thing I can think of is either a bearing going bad, (not as likely, it'd probably fall apart right quick) or your Alternator slowly dying.

2 of my parents cars have had that same problem in the last couple years, and although I'm not sure if it's a regular problem with Lancers, it may be worth checking out.
