Hi there !
I am trying to get a reliable used car to go to work with, about 15km per day total.
I am looking at the older Lancer Classics from 2008 or so, with the 1.6 engine and 4 speed tranny.
OR
One of those 1.8 Sportbacks from 2010 with the newer-appearance.
Which would you say is a more simple, reliable car with no added electronics and crap that can go bad ?
The 1.8 has CVT and all kinds of things that I don't know if are as reliable as the old one.
But that's just my simple logic
What do you think ?
In my local market, the 1.8 2010 costs 6000$ and the 2008 Classic is 2500$.
