hi guys -

I've noticed that sometimes (looks like when it's kidda cold outside, -5 and below) the tire pressure light goes ON when after I drive for ~ 15 min -> it goes off

It does not happen all the time but still... I've checked the pressure (it should be 32 psi) and I actually had ~ 34psi for all tires...

anyone knows why? is it normal?

ready for the scientific answer....

pressure is determined by volume and temperature...so either there is less air in your tires, or the air is cold.

When you start up the car, the air is cold, and the light goes on. By the time you drive to the gas station to check the pressure, the tire and air has heated up and the pressure increases to normal.

I'm assuming this just started just happening recently since you're asking it, and since the light goes off after driving a bit, i would assume it is temperature related and i wouldn't be too concerned about it.

I don't have TPMS in my Endee, but i'm surprised there's not a time delay or at least temp taken into consideration.
