I'm a proud new owner of a Lancer GTS but I'm very new at working on a car. It's always been my brothers' thing. I plan on only a few mods, nothing too flashy, bit need some advice:

I want to upgrade my exhaust to maybe the borla axle back exhaust and rrm headers, but I see its only the muffler on the website. Would the midpipe and cat still be stock or can I swap that out too?

Also, I read I would maybe have to do a dyno test afterwards. Need to, or could? Plus should I also upgrade the ECU?

Do I need to do anything special with a cold air intake also? Electronically. Or do they usually come with a sensor.

Thanks. And sorry for the rookie questions.

I bought headers from RRM.
You can find headers cheaper on eBay.

You have options for exhaust system
Full exhaust system @ custom exhaust shop = around $700
Cat-back bolt on systems - search google

K&N cold air intake is a good start
HPS makes nice short ram intakes

Works motorsports - Brain Flash P1 = $299
Basically you send in your ECU and they flash it and send it back
Same day turn around usually

NGK Ruthenium spark plugs - 100,000 mile interval approximately
