Hello! New to the community so i apologize if this topic is here already but i could not find it. Currently own a 2015 Lancer SE and about 2 months ago my entire under engine spash shield basicslly exploded on the highway. In Ohio i have found it diffucult to find a replacment and am looking towards a custom splash shield before winter.

Was wondering how technical you guys think it would be to buy some sheet metal or plastic and measure and cut out an entire splash shield for the engine and other compents in that area. Then would just drill holes and try my best to use factory bolt locations.

Also could use some pointers on exactly what material to use. I assumed some high heat resistant plastic or an aluminum sheet? But im no expert lol

Any help is appreicated and thank you for reading!!

If you have all the original splash shield parts you can timlpit it for the holes and shape just cut a access hole for jack spot and tie downs and oil pan and make a cover for the pan so you can still do oil changes
