So my gfs transmission went out and I’ve been trying to find a new one and I found one for a 2017 I work on cars but I don’t mess with transmissions or cvt transmissions especially I just wanna know if the 2017 trans will bolt right up and plug up just fine

You need to ensure the part numbers for both Transmissions are the same.
Best way to do this is get the vehicle details for the donor trans vehicle and ask a dealer to confirn the part number, and then give them your details to check if it is the same.
All the gearboxes look the same, and the numbers stamped on them may not be the ones you need to compare.
The trans will likely fit, but the programming is different between model years, and if you do have the wrong trans you will have performance difficulties
