Need help setting the timing on a 99 Mitsubishi Starwagon WA

Any pics or information would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue! 2002 efi 2litre engine says 5 degrees but this is "Base Timing Mode" I adjusted mine to this not realising that the ECU sets the timing unless you set to base timing mode. Ops dosent run well if you set it to 5 degrees without it being in base timing mode I discovered!!!! My advise for EFI engine leave it alone until you find out how to force Base Timing Mode. I have yet to come accross this info so mine is set Roughly where it was before I Fiddled with it !!!! I am also open to ideas on how to do it Properly.

same on my 2.4 just twisted the dizzi till it came good
disconnecting the battery will reset the ecu. not tried it
let us know what you find
