Trying to help a local kid and can't locate a source online that outlines the procedure (and target voltage) to adjust the TPS on this car. Wiring pin assignment would also help to ensure correct volt meter pin assignment.
I couldn't find any clear posts to determine whether this car is 1G or 2G. I did find the post you provided but after going through that thread my head was spinning. On my Chevy V8 TPI engines with key on not running you just move the closed TPS until it reads .45 to .55 volts and you're done.
Just got back..the TPS was bad and it's not adjustable. It is set at 15% for idle...manually opening the throttle body best we got was 78%. The TPS (in hand) not mounted goes through the 0-100 range. The temp sensor connector was bad replaced it along with the TPS the car now runs great again.
