i took the passenger seat out of my 2006 eclipse, and drove the car. well the seats have airbags in them, so had to disconect the airbag clip and the seat belt clip to take the seat out. the air bag lite is on now and the seatbelt light is on also. so i put the seat back in, hooked every thing back up. and the lights r still on, and with the seat belt buckled light is still on. Is there way to reset the Computer to rest the lights. or how the hell i get these lights to turn off.

Make sure everything is back in the car the way its supposed to be and goto the dealer and tell them that the lights wont turn off. Pawn it off as a warranty problem.

You have to find someone with a computer that will do it if not take it to the dealer those are the only way trust me
I had a similar problem, I bought the car second hand from a private seller (stupid me) there were problems with it when he sold it but he didn't tell me.... long story short when rego was due mechanic wouldn't pass it because Air Bag light didn't come on at all.... the investigation showed - there was a passenger side seat belt problem (and seat belt wiring harness is connected to Air Bags) and the Air Bag light was deliberately disconnected by previous owner (this is against the law, he disconnected it by removing the Instrument cluster (dash) and immobilizing the LED) there was 2 choices for me.... take the car or cluster to the Guy at St Marys who repairs Instrument clusters (he was too busy, and my rego was due in days) or buy another cluster to suit.... so I had to look for one specific to my Vehicle, which was a cluster to suit a 2wd, 4sp Auto Turbo Diesel, and believe me they are rare as rocking horse poo, but i found one for $120 from a spare parts place in Smithfield N.S.W.... and then off to a guy In Rosebery that specialises in Air Bag problems.... problem fixed, got a pass on the pink slip.... phew! with 2 days left... whatever you do, DO NOT take it to a Mitsubishi Agent.... they wanted $168 P/H just for booking and looking, the other agent wanted $165 P/H when I went it took him 15 mins to book it, I asked how long does it take to book it? he said It was a process, and we were no closer so I walked out.... the guys I referred to are the last ones i took it to, and did a far better cheaper but professional job.
