All cars have ground wires, but what a grounding kit does is add more ground wires. Supposedly it increases the efficiency of electrical systems (like your distributors which power the spark plugs), and will yield a little performance gain and gas mileage improvement (supposedly).
I have a grounding kit, and all I've seen is that my headlights seems brighter.
Not a worth while mod, unless you plan to do serious mods later (turbo, etc).
hey i recently did some additional grounding myself used 4 guage wire & ring terminals benefits i could see were better throttle response & a/c when on better idling......it's not a must do mod it's more like a why not / couldn't hurt mod..just my $0.02
