Hi all. Recently picked up a 2004 1.3 to use as a cheap run around/entice the Mrs to learn to drive.
The front drivers side head light has some broken glass inside of it and has also clouded over. I'd like to remove it to empty the glass out of it and clean it all up. Could someone tell me what needs to be undone/removed to get the headlight off.
Thanks Jack

You have to remove the bumper to get at them, as for clouding theres nothing you can do to cure it, you can get them polished but after a short time it comes back, the clouding is from heat of bulbs and the sun theres is currently a oerfect headlamp on ebay for £32 however it will look odd if you just do one!!.. for speedier replies try the mitsubishi space star and wagon owner uk on facebook as its more or less gone dead here now... cheers martin

the plastic can be fixed. You don't polish them you wet sand them with 600 grit then clean with alcohol and spray with uv specific clear coat. Will last for years that way.

No you cant, ive had spacestars for years and you can not get headlights clear again no matter what you use on them.. after having 6 of them and trying different methods nothing works well enough to last!!
