Hi guys. Swapping in a stock 4G94 from an 05 Manual Lancer ES into an 03 Automatic Lancer ES. Everything went fine until we realized the flexplate was binding and wouldnt crank over. We figured we didnt have the TC splines lined up. So we removed engine, rotated the TC by hand, until it sunk deeper. But we're not sure if we getting deep enuf into the 3rd 'click', where the TC is mating into the 'flats' of the tranny.
How far back should the TC be? Should that center nub be flush with the bellhousing, or deeper? Where we have it, the nub is sticking out of the bellhousing maybe 1/4". Any advise??
