They need coding to the car. The engine dying is a sign the vehicle is immobilised.
Key fob not working
Hi I have 2 key fobs that do not work and 1 that does
The 2 that don't work will start the car but the engine dies after a few seconds
Does anyone know how I can get them to work ?

Is it ok to put the transponder chip from the fob and fasten it to the ignition barrel then all my keys will work ?They need coding to the car. The engine dying is a sign the vehicle is immobilised.

it works , but it isnt ideal. It makes your immobiliser worthless, and may invalidate your insurance.
Ok never thought of that so I think I will get a chip cloned for one of my .non working keys
