I have two 2000 mitsubishi lancers, one is a standard 1.3 and the other is a 1.6 mivec shell with a gsr 4g93t engine in it and neither of the obd2 ports work, is that common with lancers? also tried two of my friends lancers and they don't work either. I first used a diagnostic scanner and it would connect as in recognise that theres a car there but woudnt actually connect and let me do anything and then I used a Bluetooth obd2 scanner and it didn't work at all in any of the lancers but it worked in about 23 different cars and vans that I tried it in that where the same year

The lancers may not be obd2 compliant. I had a 99 hyundai that had the same obd plug, but was obd1, and when i plugged obd2 scanner in it would not start.
