Until recently, the MMCS Maintenance functions of my 2011 SE have worked fine. Recently, however, hitting the Maintenance button brings up a message that says to check Time and Date and, if incorrect, to move the vehicle so GPS information can be obtained. Time can obviously be changed on the Clock Set function but my system says that the date is set automatically, which apparently isn't happening. Trying to change the date by using the Calendar function brings up dates that are well before the car was built and changing the date stops in 2007. Moving the car, no matter what screen is displayed, changes nothing. A regional dealer said that they had dealt with problem in a 2010 or 2011 Outlander and determined that nothing could be done, suggesting that the satellites/towers serving the Maintenance functions were no longer operating or were simply incompatible with current technology. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
