Hi I have Mitsubishi pajero 3.5 V6 doch 1998 model automatic. I recently did changed both heads on my baby I did myself with little mechanical back round.Everything is all good no more overheating problems,it drives well power normal. My only issue is when the car is stationary idling on park it's fine only when I shift to drive or reverse that my idling starts behaving abnormally like the car wants to stall.Any help will be highly appreciated.

Can you hear air escaping?

It is likely you have an inlet air leak. Possibly from a split hose or an inlet gasket.

Spray some carburettor cleaner lightly around the inlet manifold area and listen for a change in engine note or speed
