I'm trying to find a replacement ECU for a 1999 Pajero iO, Engine # 4G93KT3689 which is the MPI version. The original ECU carries the Part Number MD362052 although several web searches have come up with replacement part number MR 420880 for the 1.8 L Pajero Pinin which is the same vehicle under a different name. Does anyone know why the same part should have different numbers if it is indeed the same part - only thing I can think of is one is for the GDI version and one for the MPI.
