maybe a slly thng but i had a space wagon started fine no previous problems with running went on a long run 75 miles when i pulled up at a toll booth it cut out and continued to do this each time i slowed to a stop or at a roundabout it would run ok at speed with no misfiring only cut out at tickover
anyway i thought the worst but for once i started with the simple things first
i changed the spark plugs they didnt look bad at at all but with new ones fitted it cured the problem completely
so give the old sparkys a try first cost under £10
first of all hi this is my first post
and its not a plea for help
i got my 99 gdi three days ago it was cutting out
i removed the airflow meter and cleaned all the coke off it
then put it in a sonic cleaner i got from maplins (for cleaning jewellery )
job done its great no problems
I have the same problem with my w reg GLX GDI. Only bought it a week ago and is driving me nuts as I live in a city and always have to slow for roundabouts and lights. Is this a common space star problem then?
