Hi All
My first post on here :)
The gear stick has started moving when clutch is released / biting point just before clutch engages drive etc.. It's rather excessive!! 2" or so....It still drives fine in all forward gears but when reversing when you release the clutch and start to move it judders and locks up as if going into another gear :-/ I thought maybe it was a gearbox mount causing the movement but it isn't and the bushes on the selector seem fine (although the selector moves very freely by hand...almost too freely!) and wondering if maybe internally there is a spring or a ball bearing that should prevent this movement or hold it in gear etc.... Has anyone had similar problems or can anyone share a exploded diagram of the gearbox where the selector assembly mates up to the internal parts etc
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
