First off I want to say that I'm so glad I found this forum! This post I want to ask anyone about suspension issues. I have a 03 Outlander XLS AWD nearing 200k miles and I was told by the dealership that I should replace the front struts, tie rod ends and bushings (an estimate of about $1500). I've had all of them replaced before but that was 7 or 8 years ago. My brother works for a parts distributor and a family friend is a certified mechanic that has helped me save money before (replacing rear control arms, radiator, etc). I have had the squeaks and a couple knocks now and again and will also be replacing the rear ones as well. Would this be too big of an issue to be done myself in a few days, should I take it to a local shop (if I can find one I trust), or should I bite the bullet and take it to the dealership?

To clarify it was only the struts replaced years ago. The tie rod ends and bushings haven't been yet and from what I've read on here it's weird that they've lasted this long? I have taken it off road as a tourist quite a bit since I've had it. It also looks like it's something more than I'm willing to do myself, even with my mechanic friend.

Can you put me on to where you got your suspension parts for your vehicle from I was in an accident recently and am having problems finding parts for my 03 outlander
