You will need to forgive my lack of familiarity with "computer stuff".

I don't even know the correct term to describe what you have done, other than refer to it in the term "Technical Archive" that I used to use @AMC.

I am from an earlier time.

Start here:

Technical Forums (No Spam) [Archive] - The Australian Magna Club

then go to:

"Large Passenger" then >>"Third Generation Magna TE TW"

You will see 101 pages of database.

Use the "ctrl f" function and input the search term "tiptronic"

page 101 has no result,

then go to page 100 which has 1 result(as linked to in post #9 above),

page 99 has 1 result,

page 98 = 0,

page 97 = 3 results,

etc etc.

Each time you go to a new page a fresh "ctrl f & tiptronic" entry needs to be made.

Laborious, yes, but I do not know a way around this.

Thanks for the thanks.

I was quite worried when the original forum shut down.

Potentially, it meant that the best car I have ever owned would be much more difficult to keep on the road.

I am happy to help out where possible, and hope that other M-F members get some benefit from the forum owners/administrators stepping up to help out.
