Timing belt or chain?

Hi,

I just bought a 2016 model L200, and was wondering if it has a timing belt or chain. It a 4N15 engine. Im pretty sure it has chain, but not 100 % and would like to know. Thanks!

Hey mate, I've seen you posting a lot about chains or belts, could you clear something up for me?

I have a 2011 Triton GLXR diesel and a mechanic asked for my timing belt history.. he thinks its time to replace it.

Do I have a belt or chain? I've seen Mitsubishi started using chains in 2007/8?

Your Triton should have a 4D56 engine which would give it a timing belt. The ML triton before it had a chain
