1992 diesel turbo triton , 4D56. bought it cheap. breaking no2 inlet rocker, ( roller tip)
taken the top timing cover off.
lined up the dot on cam pulley, with the marker on the alloy case.
noticed i couldnt see the line on the ballancer lined up with the tdc mark on plastic timing cover.
so i turned the engine over so the cam rotated another 360 degrees , this time i can see the mark on ballancer but its about ? 15- 20 mm? away from the t mark on plastic cover.
i take it , that this ISNT CORRECT ? slightly confused because i been looking at pics of bottom crank pulley and the plate with the v doesnt seem to line up with the mark on ballancer.
