Hi everyone,

This is my first post and also my first Mitsubishi. I have recently purchased a 2014 MN triton, and have started to clean it up. I have noticed the wiring has been played with, wires cut, wire cut and rejoined but I have found a plug behind the left hand headlight that has been supplied power direct from the battery. Can someone help identify what the plug is for and what it does, the wire is red with a yellow trace.

Its the wiring supply for your towbar. It goes inside to another patch lead, then joins the rear harness, then at the back your towbar harness plugs in
