If I replace this, do I need to get it coded to the cars ECU,
Thank you again for your reply, how do I get/input this file is it dealer only?yes you do. It needs to have a .config file with your VIN written to it. Some can be overwritten, some cannot
took my outlander to a local auto electrician this morning dropped it off at 08:00 by 10:00 I had a call to say it’s done!! Apparently there’s a bank of fuses behind the battery and one had blown they bypassed it with an inline fuse as the didn’t have the standard one in stock charged me £60 needles to say I’m over the moon!!So my local Mitsubishi dealer is telling me I can’t recode the ETAC? It’s new unit only? @£1000
no, I did ask the question but he said no way of knowing really I guess I’ve just got to hope it doesn’t happen againDid the auto electrician offer a suggestion as to why the fuse had blown?
