Humming noise!

Hi fellow Shogun'ers
I am newbie so still finding my way around my recent purchase, a 2010 MITSUBISHI SHOGUN 3.2 DI-D. I am hoping someone can help me? When I drive my vehicle I hear no noise upto 44 mph. As soon as I reach 45-50 I hear a loud humming / buzzing noise coming from the front left? As soon as I reach 51 it disappears again? Any ideas what could be causing this issue?

Welcome.

My very tentative thought is that it might be a wheel bearing.

That is my best guess from long distance without further information.

Alternatively, it might be a piece of loose plastic trim that starts to vibrate from air loads experienced at the specific speed(s) that you mention, and disappears once the speed is exceeded.
